Medico-Legal Case Investigation

X-RaysThe accurate determination of the mechanism of injury or death, is critical in the evaluation of situations in which adverse outcomes occur, whether related directly to medical diagnosis and treatment, or the means by which the injury occurred

Trauma mechanisms can be analyzed by looking at the pattern and distribution of the injuries. The clinical information gathered through physical examination, laboratory testing, x-rays, CAT and MRI testing, and related modalities, may define the type of injury. This will allow the comparison of a patient’s injuries, with documented injuries from similar incidents, and help determine how the injury occurred, and what the expected outcome may be.
